For years Microdermabrasion has been an acceptable skin treatment procedure in the United States. An extremely fine mist of microscopic aluminum oxide crystals is projected onto the skin in a safe and uniform manner to gently and painlessly exfoliate layers of the epidermis. These crystals, along with dead skin cells, are vacuumed into a closed filter container and discarded.
The process of cell renewal (exfoliation) is a natural process that slows with age and our environment. Even removal of the superficial dead cells thickens the epidermis and increases the production of new skin cells along with the production of collagen and elastin.

Microdermabrasion leaves your skin smooth and clean. Blackheads are loosened, whiteheads become unsurfaced, hyperpigmentation (brown spots) lightens and acne scars, enlarged pores and epidermal wrinkles become less prominent. Blood containing oxygen and nutrients, is drawn to the surface to feed and repair cells.
